Home Remedies for Skin Care

1. Take half a bowl of curd and mix it well with a few drops of lemon (Citrus limon). Gently massage it all over your body. Take a shower after 10-15 minutes. Application of the same twice a week would inform a toned and flawless skin.

2. Prepare a paste of gram (Cicer arietinum) flour in raw milk. Add a few drops of lemon to the same. Before taking a bath, scrub the paste on your body in circular motions for few minutes. This would exfoliate dead skin and removes surplus oil, leaving behind a clean and glowing skin.

3. Take 2 teaspoons milk cream and add some saffron (Crocus sativus) to it. Leave it overnight. Mix it well next dawn and massage your face, neckline and hands with the same. This would remove skin dryness and get better complexion.

4. Take glycerin, lemon juice and rose (Rosa indica) water in equal amounts and mix them in a glass bottle. Apply this natural moisturizing lotion regularly before retiring to bed. It is also beneficial in preventing acne and early aging of the skin.

5. Rub red sandalwood (Pterocarpus santalinus) in rose water to make a paste. Apply this paste over face and neck for civilizing complexion.
